How to pretreat 5A molecular sieve as adsorbent

For small batches, use the muffle furnace to bake at 150 degrees for 2-3 hours, and it is usually freshly baked. When used in large equipment such as air separation, molecular sieves need to be pre-treated when driving because molecular sieves are very hygroscopic and should not be directly exposed to the air during storage and should be placed in a dry place. Molecular sieves that have been stored for a long time and have absorbed moisture should be regenerated before use. The higher the regeneration temperature, the more complete the regeneration. Generally, the regeneration temperature is between 200 and 350 degrees. The regeneration temperature should generally not exceed 400 degrees. When the regeneration temperature exceeds 600 degrees, the molecular sieve may lose its activity. The heating time depends on the amount of regeneration air you have. It is necessary to ensure that the temperature at the outlet of the tower is above 120 degrees to ensure the complete regeneration of the molecular sieve.
