Haishai Food and Drug Administration conducts special inspection of molecular sieve oxygen production facilities in medical institutions

In order to further strengthen the supervision of medical institutions using medical molecular sieve oxygen generators and ensure the safety of oxygen for patients, from November to December 2013, the Haishu Food and Drug Administration carried out a special inspection of the molecular sieve oxygen equipment used by medical institutions in the sea area.

Special inspections were carried out by self-examination of medical institutions and sampling by the Food and Drug Administration of Hailar District. The focus of the inspection is on the product's medical device registration certificate and other qualification documents, equipment installation and commissioning, and routine maintenance records, personnel training, oxygen concentration monitoring, and testing records. The inspection found that most of the medical institutions in the sea use oxygen cylinders to provide oxygen, purchase bills are complete, and maintenance records are complete. The two medical institutions (Halal District Hospital, Hulunbeier City Sino-Mongolian Hospital) use molecular sieve oxygen equipment, medical treatment. Qualification documents such as equipment registration certificates, records for the record at the Autonomous Region Food and Drug Administration at the beginning of the year, equipment installation and commissioning, daily maintenance records, personnel training, oxygen concentration monitoring, and test records have all been established. Special inspections have further strengthened the management of the use of molecular sieve oxygen equipment in medical institutions, urged medical institutions to improve oxygen concentration testing facilities, standardized equipment maintenance, personnel training, oxygen monitoring and other records, and ensured that medical institutions are in use. The molecular sieve oxygen plant operates normally.
